Table 1. Specific substrate consumption rate (qS) specific growth rate (”) volumetric intracelluar protein production rate (QIP) volumetric intracellular production rate (QIP) and b-cellbiosidae (IU/mg protein) levels in Cellulomonas flavigena strain grown on different carbon sources in Dubos medium (pH 7.3) in shake-flaks batch cultures at 30șC. The values in columns have been calculated from means of three replicates; the standard deviations were 3.04% of these values and have not been presented. Values in parentheses indicate the specific activity of FPase using Whatman no. 1 filtre paper as substrate.
