This article analyses the issue of man from the perspective of the concept of "person" as a singular-concrete being, in the theological and philosophical approach made by H. Urs von Baltasar. This analysis is carried out in the light of some of the most significant contributions of modern philosophy regarding the term person. This discussion attempts to point out the specific contribution theology can provide, in order to attain a better understanding of such basic concept, especially when it comes to reflecting on the interaction between the human and theological point of view. Such specific contribution deals, above all, with the Trinitarian-Chistological articulation of the person in order to enlighten, by means of an analogy, the human person in its full dignity considering its "relation with others" as constitutive of its self
