Resumen

GUIJARRO, Santiago. La cristología neotestamentaria de la filiación y la teología trinitaria. Teol. vida [online]. 2019, vol.60, n.4, pp.475-496. ISSN 0049-3449.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0049-34492019000400475.

The present study explores the possibility of articulating New Testament Christology around the title “Son of God”, which played a decisive role in later Trinitarian reflection. To justify this proposal, it begins by showing how this title became increasingly important in the New Testament writings. Next, the relationship of this title with the other titles and statements about Jesus in the New Testament is analyzed in order to find out to what extent these can be articulated around a Christology of sonship. Finally, an inquiry into the origins of this title will show that it has its roots in the same filial experience of Jesus. The study concludes by stating a series of theses that support the proposal that New Testament Christology can be articulated on Jesus divine Sonship.

Palabras clave : Son of God; Christian Messianism; Sonship; Trinitarian Relationships; Trinitarian Christology.
