Resumen
HERNANDEZ, Biviana. Rewriting and parody in Facsímil by Alejandro Zambra and “Curriculum vitae” by Rodrigo Lira. Estud. filol. [online]. 2019, n.63, pp.99-120. ISSN 0071-1713. http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0071-17132019000100099.
In this article, I analyze two literary works that appeal to the avant-garde tradition of textual deconstruction. Facsímil, by Alejandro Zambra (2015), and "Curriculum vitae" by Rodrigo Lira (1981, 206), deploy rewriting as a parodic exercise for textual appropriation, questioning in this way the standard use of the speech genres that serve as models for textual rewriting texts. While Zambra parodies the Prueba de Aptitud Académica format by turning it into an experiential chronicle of the Chilean social history, Lira makes a parody of himself by way of a delirious curriculum vitae that raises a discussion on the limits of self-fiction.
