From the perspectiveoftheecocriticism a corpus of Francisco Coloane's tales is analyzed, in order to make clear his ecological convergences. First, the concept of symbiosis is applied to the cooperative links that are established between humans that have settled in the extreme south of Chile, and the animáis. Secondly, general reflections are made about the narrative displácemeos of Coloane's work, it what makes possible to label it as ecological. Finally, the human ways to exist, that the author describe as disintegrated (brutality, exploitation, lost of human condition). Also is made clear, the methods use by Nature uses in order toget ridofthe plundering.
