This article studies Manuel Rojas’ political identity since he was a young man until his last days of life, from a biographical and literary analysis. Therefore, we can confirm that Rojas was a member of the anarchist ranks during his youth, and then in the adulthood, the writer moderated his stances taking part in the socialist party. The author’s political evolution is linked to his ascent in the social stratification.
