Abstract

The pupa and aspects of the biology of Eupithecia sibylla Butler, 1882 are described. Prosopis sp. and Caesalpinia sp. (Fabaceae) are the host of the larvae of E. sibylla. Euphorocera peruviana Townsed (Diptera: Tachinidae) is a larval endoparasitoid of this geometrid moth. E. sibylla is distributed between the 19° and 37° S, and between the 600 and 2500 meters of altitude. The imago and pupa are illustrated
