During the CIMAR 5 survey, between the Chilean coast and Easter Island, and during CIMAR 6 survey, between the Chilean coast and Juan Fernández archipelago, 37 specimens of the mesopelagic shrimp Stylopandalus richardi (Coutière, 1905) were collected. This is the first record for the species in the southeastern Pacific Ocean.
