PULIDO-DELGADO, J. L. y MEDELLIN-RODRIGUEZ, F. J.. Stress Limit Determination for a Continuous System of Thermoplastic Elastomer. Inf. tecnol. [online]. 2005, vol.16, n.2, pp.23-28. ISSN 0718-0764. http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0718-07642005000200004.
The results of a study on the simulation of the uniaxial mechanical deformation process of the thermoplastic elastomer polyurethane-diacetylene (PU-PDA)-poly(tetramethylene oxide) (POTM) [HDI-5,7-1000], an important complex polymer of the type thermoplastic elastomer, with chromo-mechanical properties. The simulation involved the generation of true stress calculation as a function of temperature. First, a constitutive equation that described the visco-elastic states of the system was obtained and solved using finite elements. The simulation results indicated good correlation with experimental data, so the constitutive model and the numerical calculations were considered adequate for the purpose of this study
