Abstract
RIOS, E. and ZEMLIAK, A. M.. Time-Optimal Design Methodology for Nonlinear Electronic Circuits. Inf. tecnol. [online]. 2005, vol.16, n.4, pp.83-90. ISSN 0718-0764. http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0718-07642005000400013.
A methodology is presented for the time-optimal design of non-linear systems. Optimal control theory and a set of special control functions are introduced in order to generalize the design methodology and to produce various different design strategies within the same optimization procedure. The combination of some of these strategies defines the optimal or quasi-optimal design trajectory based on computation time. The numerical results were obtained by personal computer using a C++ language program. The design of some nonlinear electronic circuits showed that this methodology can substantially reduce the total number of operations and accelerate the design process. It is concluded that the gain in time using this design methodology increases, in comparison with traditional methodology, as the complexity of the system grows.
