A computer program to study the validity of empirical correlations for the prediction of saturation liquid densities of pure fluids has been designed. The program includes a database with accepted values from the literature in order to compare the values calculated with the models. For each datum point the program gives the absolute and relative deviations. For each fluid and family of fluids, the temperature range is listed, the absolute and relative deviations are obtained, and the temperature at which the highest deviation is found is indicated. Besides, graphics are generated to display the data together with the model predictions. The validity and accuracy of eight analytical expressions based on the corresponding state principle to predict the saturation liquid density of aldehydes, ketones, and four alcohol families have been tested .
