Wood composites and wood engineered products conception is the contemporary tendency in wood engineering. As a result, new industrial products can be found in the wood market with improved technological characteristics, more homogeneous and predictable. This research is focused in the study of a Particleboard sample from an industrial facility in the State of Michoacán. The panels were manufactured with a Pinus spp., Abies spp. and Quercus spp. wood species mixture. Urea-formaldehyde resin was used as adhesive. The objectives of the research are: to evaluate the Modulus of Elasticity (MOE) using Non Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Methods; to compare and relate the studied sample statistics results up to the different methods of evaluation used, and propose a classification according to the Standard ANSI A208.1. The three NDE methods applied were: Transversal Vibrations, Stress Waves and Static Bending. After testing, the NDE demonstrated to be useful to determine the MOE of Particleboard. In agreement with sample density results, the experimental material classifies as a Medium Density Particleboard, as prescribed in Standard ANSI A208.1. According to the MOE values found, the Particleboard classifies as 1-M-3 when is evaluated with dynamic NDE. In contrast, when the Particleboard is evaluated in Static Bending, it classifies as 1-M-2, as prescribed in Standard ANSI A208.1 Also, the transversal direction with respect to the panel line of production denoted higher values of MOE, in contrast with results for the parallel direction. Finally, the MOEs showed a strong statistical relationship within them. This result confirms the fundamental hypothesis concerning the NDE application in wood products research
