Resumen

DEVES-VALDES, Eduardo. La circulación de las ideas económico-sociales de Latinoamérica y El Caribe, en Asia y África ¿Cómo llegaron y cómo se diseminaron? (1965-1985). Universum [online]. 2008, vol.23, n.2, pp.86-111. ISSN 0718-2376.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0718-23762008000200005.

As a part of a project about the relations and parallels between Latin American and Caribbean thought with the African's one, I will try here to determine the ways through which the ideas of socio-economical sciences generated in the former region went to the latter and spread out there. I'll research into the 6 most important "models", as well as others of lesser importance, in order to understand the process of circulation of ideas through: Academic institutions of the first world; Meetings of economic-social scientists; Networks about developmental themes; Stays of Latin American researchers in Asia and Africa; International conferences and congresses; and Publications. Examples are offered for each one of these "models" and then ranked, according to the specific importance for the circulation of ideas above mentioned. As a conclusion, I intend to think, in a larger scope, about the circulation of ideas in the peripheral regions, considering the necessity to enlarge and give more density to this circulation.

Palabras clave : Circulation of ideas; Latin-American thought; Asian thought; African thought; Peripheral thought; Economic; social sciences.
