This study aims to identify the principal centerline of the case-law described by the Supreme Court of Argentina in terms of human rights, especially regarding civil and political rights and economic, social and cultural ones; the influence of the 1994 constitutional reform on the subject and, among other things, the degree of compliance that the Court shows in relation to international standards, for example, adopted by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. In particular, the paper will focus on Supreme Court’s decisions that have generated public debate and social impact for their innovation and technical complexity.
