Resumen

GIRALDO, Omar Felipe. Agroecology and complexity: Coupling technique with ecosystem organization. Polis [online]. 2015, vol.14, n.41, pp.277-301. ISSN 0718-6568.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0718-65682015000200019.

The agrotechnological order is not coupled with the ecosystem order, because life is organized autonomously in a cyclical process, but the agribusiness systems are linear in their intervention processes. That is why the agroecological principle, par excellence, is that any transformation of the ecosystem is allowed, as long as it refrains from disrupting the ecosystem cyclicality the ecosystem needs to continue its existence. The article discusses, from an epistemological perspective, the nesting conditions of agroecology to reproduction of vital frameworks. Based on some concepts of the paradigm of complexity, we present an analysis on the technical issue of peasant-based agroecology compared to its industrial counterparts, and the characteristics of a human habitation who would want to integrate the constitutive process of natural order characteristics.
