This article is a thoughtful view uprising from the heat of current events, it is a report on impressions, nuance and dialogues inspired by street upheavals that took Brazil and the world by surprise.  The 2013’s protests in the country can be approached from multiple views and interpreted according to different theoretical arrays; the article’s choice, however, fell on the building up of a critical reading directed towards the means of production and the capitalistic management of the country, besides proposing a model bearing emancipating-inspired alternatives.  The analysis approaches the origin of the mobilizations, their characteristics and conquests, street violence, privatization of politics and the representation crisis of the political system; finally, it presents conclusions focused on the exhaustion of the neo-development inspire model proposed by the leaders of the Workers’ Party.
