DIAZ D, Olga María  e  TASSARA CH, Gilda. DIDACTIC OBSERVATION OF SPOKEN FRENCH PRONUNCIATION IN AN AUTHENTIC CORPUS. Nueva rev. Pac. [online]. 2017, n.66, pp.78-98. ISSN 0716-6346.  http://dx.doi.org/10.4067/S0719-51762017000300078.

We know that oral representation is very different from that of the written system. Inseparable from speech, rhythmic segmentation, accentuated syllabication and intonation contours are the basis of oral code management, since they represent a key function in the cohesion of discourse and its interpretation. However, they have for a long time constituted a secondary, peripheral and sometimes ignored aspect of the language class, since priority was given to the search for a "correct" pronunciation of phonemes (vowels and consonants of the new language ), i.e. a good reproduction of segmental elements. Revitalization of suprasegmental plane and of the whole field of phonology is due to the use of new technologies, and especially, the many authentic supports that, together with innovative practices, can provide us with the adequate means to raise the problem of orality. As it can be seen, in the media age, and in the didactic perspective of an exploitation in a French course, as a Foreign Language, it is convenient to see how the student can be helped to become familiar with this orality first, exposing the student as far as possible to an observation of authentic corpus in spoken French and then trying to use this corpus more systematically to take the student progressively to a training in the level of recognition of language elements, often characterized by a phonetic variation. And finally, the idea is to achieve a certain identification control of the most typical signs of communication that constitute an obstacle to the reception of oral language.
